বিজ্ঞানের ভাষা

আমি দেখেছি বা দেখছি যখনি কোন ছাত্র বা ব্যক্তি
বিজ্ঞান বিষয়ে কিছু আলোচনা করে তখন বেশি ভাগ সময় তারা অসহায় ভাবে বলে বিজ্ঞান
বুঝিনা ,বা আমি বিজ্ঞান বিষয় নিয়ে পড়াশোনা করিনি।
তাদের নিজেদের মধ্যে ভাবনাটাই এমন স্থানে দাঁড়িয়েছে যে বিজ্ঞান হচ্ছে বিশেষ
বিশেষ মানুষের জন্য।
তার জগৎ ও আলাদা, এটা দূর করতেই - বিজ্ঞান
বিষয়টি অনুধাবন করতে যাতে সহজ হয় সেই দিকে নজর দিয়ে আমি প্রতিটি প্রবন্ধ রচনা করার
চেষ্টা করেছি।।
আজ বিজ্ঞান একটি ভয়ঙ্কর স্থানে
প্রতিষ্ঠিত হবার কারণ নানা রকম বাধা নিষেধের ঘেরাটোপে রেখে সাধারণের কাছে পরিবেষণই
দায়ি।।
আমি নিজে এর ভুক্তভুগি –
সামান্য একটি প্রবন্ধ (যদি তা অতি নিন্মমানের ও হয়) কোন প্রতিষ্ঠিত জার্নালে প্রকাশ করতে হলে তাদের দেওয়া
নির্দেশ অনুযায়ী – ভাগ ভাগ করে প্রতি ভাগের আবার আলাদা আলাদা পরিমাণের,ডিজাইনের, অক্ষর
ইত্যাদি নানা ফরমান মানতে হবে তবেই তারা লেখাটি পড়বেন,তারপর অনেক ধাপ পেরুলে তবে
হয়তো প্রকাশের বিবেচনা করা হতেপারে।
যদি লেখাতেই এত নির্দেশ মানতে হয় এবং তা প্রকাশ করতে প্রতি জার্নালের জন্য বিভিন্ন পদ্ধতি প্রশিক্ষণ গ্রহণ করতে হয়, তবে
সহজেই অনুমান করা যাবে বিজ্ঞান চর্চার মধ্যে কত বাধা,কেমন ভাবে একে সাধারনের বোধের
অনুপযুক্ত করা হয়েছে।।
আমি একটি প্রতিষ্ঠিত জার্নালের আমার লেখা “A STORY OF LATEST SCIENTIFIC DISCOVERY” প্রত্যাক্ষানের ভাষা নিবেদন করছি।। তারা পড়েই দেখেননি! হতে পারে অতি নিন্মমানের।।

without peer review, on the grounds that it
is not scientifically sound. Therefore, we do not require any further
correspondence regarding this paper. Furthermore, as per our appeal policy, it
will not be entitled to an appeal, as the paper was not sent for peer review.

জানিনা এটা অতি শিক্ষার অহংকারের বহিঃপ্রকাশ কিনা।
আবার অন্য একটি বৃহৎ সংস্থার লেখার উদারহণ দিচ্ছি যা
আমাকে উৎসাহ দান করেছিল ,NASA – একটি বিশেষ গুনের অধিকারী, তারা যে কোন অবহেলিত বিষয়ের দিকে নজর রাখেন, যদি
সেই অবহেলিত বিষয় থেকে মুল্যবান কিছু বেরিয়ে আসে সেই উদ্দেশ্যে। আর তার মুল্যও
দিতে জানেন।এই মহৎ গুণই তাদের প্রতিনিয়ত উত্থানের অন্যতম কারণ।।
